4. Implementation of Close-Out Plan and Completion of Final Global Fund Requirements (Grant Closure Period)
- The Country Office (CO) brings the grant to a close as per the Grant Close-Out Plan and Budget.
- Following the Programme Ending Date, the CO should prepare the final grant documents (Progress Update, Grant Report and Cash Statement) according to the timeline agreed with the Global Fund.
- The CO must return all unspent funds as agreed with the Global Fund. This should be paid into the bank account as detailed in the ‘Approval of the Grant Closure’ Implementation Letter.
