Grant Confirmation: Special Conditions (SCs)
Like the conditions precedent (CP), special conditions (SCs) are exceptional conditions intended to set forth a number of additional requirements for a particular grant.
Practice PointerPractice PointerThe Country Office (CO) must submit each Grant Confirmation to the UNDP Office of Legal Services (OLS) and the UNDP Global Fund Partnership and Health Systems Team (GFPHST) for review as early as possible in the negotiation process. The OLS and the GFPHST will assist the CO with excluding or substantially limiting the conditions and ensuring that they are reasonable, that they comply with UNDP’s regulations, rules, policies and procedures, and that they are consistent with corporate practices between UNDP and the Global Fund.
